Our certification process segments contractors into three levels based on the complexity of the electrical work they’re trained to perform.
If I need services at multiple sites, will a single contractor travel to each one to perform the work?

My electrical requirements are complex. Can all Qmerit-certified contractors handle this work?
Not all contractors focus on the same type of electrical work, and certain types of work require specific certifications, licenses and even increased levels of insurance. Qmerit will work with you to establish your program scope, identifying the type of electricians needed for your project or service with the ability to scale up or down based on the complexity.
Can Qmerit work with an existing contractor I’m already familiar with?
Yes. Joining Qmerit’s certified network offers numerous benefits for electrical contractors, and your existing contractor may be eligible to participate. Your referral will be screened by our team. If the contractor passes our certification process, they can absolutely be added to our network and work with you under a Qmerit program.
If I have recurring projects or service requirements, can I establish a programmatic relationship with Qmerit, and can it cover multiple cities or states?
Yes. We can establish a program that simplifies the way you manage electrical services such as specific project/retrofit work, regular maintenance or inspection requirements—anything you would need to hire an electrician for.
